Hey there, care to comment on the poet's usage of rhyme in the poem?

Hi guys...
firstly, would like to commend you on the choice of poems.
They are both fascinating, related, and insightful to the life of real people- that's what poems should be 'bout! =]

next, I feel that blake- being a christian- is not condemning God...but condemning the Church's abuse of God's name to tolerate such acts...what do you think?

Hm. I think imagery and diction could be further analysed. e.g. "naked and white"? "shine in the sun"?
-->forgive me if ive not heard carefully.

Anyway, once again- I really appreciate ur commentary!!

Hello :o)

I think it's interesting how the persona speaks at, "They rise upon clouds and sport in the wind". While the line may possibly be intended to portray the long waited end (i.e. demise) of the chimney sweepers, it may also connote the short lived childhood of these children that their lives are sadly insignificant- especially with its associations with soot/smoke that eventually disappears in air.

I enjoyed the poems very much, very poignant and intriguing (Y)
